The Tenco Phantom A3(AIII) comes with great features and as usual, goes at an affordable price. Despite its bulky size and other weaknesses, this smartphone still offers capabilities that are above the average for a high end device.

Tecno Phantom A3(AIII) as an upgrade from the Phantom A2 is an improvement over the A2. Display and Build

The Tecno Phantom A3 features a 6.0” HD IPS touchscreen display to give users a wider view of videos and images. Since its display of 6.0inch falls in the range of 5.1-6.9inches required for a phablet,  this device qualifies to be called a phablet. Though huge and quite bulky to operate with one hand, it is thin enough and has a light weight of 130g, ensuring theres ease in on-screen typing, sliding into a pocket and carrying about. It has a dimension that is 166.50 mm high  84.40 mm wide and a depth of  8.40 mm.

The Tecno Phantom A3 features a plastic bodied design. It is a dual sim android smartphone, where   one of the SIM slots supports a regular SIM type and the other supports a micro-SIM type.

Processor and OS

Tecno Phantom A3 is powered by a 1.5GHz Quad-core processor, runs on Android v4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS. It features a RAM size of 1GB RAM,  16GB in-built memory that is expandable upto 32GB via microSD card.

Camera

The dual cameras on the Tecno Phantom A3 include an 8MP front-facing camera with BSI sensor and a 13MP rear camera with BSI sensor. The megapixel of the rear camera is above average for cameras and meets the minimum level required to capture high quality images. Geo-tagging, sface detection, and auto focus are some of the features included on the rear camera.
